I've entered two more triathlons:
- Greenville Triathlon on August 17 - A sprint triathlon with a 400m swim, 15 mile bike, and 5k run.
- Hickory Knob International Triathlon on October 11 - International distance triathlon with a 1500m swim, 28 mile bike, and 10k run.
The Hickory Knob Tri is the major goal race for the year. I plan on using the Greenville Tri to iron out some more wrinkles in transition, hopefully have a faster run, and just generally get more comfortable with the entire experience.
I'd love to find one more sprint tri that makes sense in September, but I don't know if that will happen. We'll just have to wait and see.
I'll be racing in the Clydesdale division in these two races. I'm weighing in at just over 200 lbs., and I guess I'll have to keep eating to make sure I stay that way.
